In 2021, it was evident that Stavanger needed a new and modern record label.

Capella Records was founded by Danish Jakob Wredstrøm and a group of local artists, producers, and songwriters who decided to create a professional community around commercial music.

Today, Capella Records represents a range of exciting artists in the Nordic region, with its main base in Stavanger. We have also established offices in Helsinki and Århus.
